الْعَدْلُ
Al-'Adl
The embodiment of perfect justice, acting with complete fairness and equity in all things.
En'âm 6:115
Al-'Adl declares that Allah is absolute justice; He does not wrong any of His servants by even an atom's weight. In Surah an-Nahl 16:90 He says: 'Indeed, Allah commands justice, ihsan, and giving to kin; He forbids immorality, evil, and oppression.' The servant who reflects on this name becomes themselves a bearer of justice—keeping honesty in trade, in judgment, with spouse and children, and even in anger. When wronged in this world, they do not despair: Al-'Adl will not let any right go to waste on the Day of Judgment. This conviction is a cornerstone of the believer's character.
In a sacred hadith Allah, Exalted is He, said: 'O My servants, I have forbidden injustice for Myself and have made it forbidden among you—so do not wrong one another.'
