الْوَاجِدُ
Al-Wajid
The One who finds whatever He wills without need, lacking nothing and self-sufficient in all things.
Al-Wajid declares that Allah finds whatever He needs instantly, that nothing is hidden from Him, and that He needs nothing Himself. Al-Wajid means 'the Finder'—nothing lost, missing, or hidden escapes Him. The servant who reflects on this name takes refuge in Al-Wajid in times of loss—losing a possession, losing a heart, losing the way. If Allah wills, He reveals at once what was found. In the darkness inside the fish, Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him) was found and forgiven by Al-Wajid.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah, Exalted is He, rejoices in His servant's tawbah more than a traveler who, having fallen from his mount with his food and drink upon it, then finds it again in the desert.'
